Imam Muhammad al-Shaybani Series

It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the Imam Muhammad al-Shaybani series (IMSS).

This series of courses seeks to provide students with an opportunity to study and critically analyse the works of the transmitter of the Hanafi school, Imam Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Shaybani, to learn his methodology and its impact on later theorists, and to examine the early transmission of Imam Abu Hanifa’s school and the reason for its rise to prominence, as well as the early presentation of the law!

The first course in the series is al-Hujja ‘ala Ahl al-Madina which you can now join! Subsequent courses include the two amazing works of Zahir al-Riwaya, al-Jami‘ al-Saghir and al-Jami‘ al-Kabir. All courses will be taught by qualified specialists in the field, and we hope that this will be an unmissable opportunity for students of knowledge, academics and others who are interested in the early Hanafi school and its methodology.
